Somerlap recently worked with long-time customer Wells Golf Club to design, build and install a custom golf hut. Wells Golf Club is home to a beautiful parkland course in the heart of Somerset and they have been a valued customer of Somerlap for over 10 years.

12th hole refreshments

The golf hut will be used to serve snacks, hot drinks and refreshments at the 12th hole – so golfers will always be suitably revived to complete the second half of the course.

The club has a busy diary of events coming up over the summer, so the hut will come in especially handy for charity events, competitions and open days.

Building the golf hut

The hut was handmade and built at the Somelap workshops in Somerset by our experienced craftsmen. Like all our sheds, the hut was then delivered to Wells Golf Club ready to assemble. The pictures above show the Somerlap team erecting the golf hut.

The bespoke design

The design of the hut was a collaboration between Somerlap and members of the Wells Golf Club committee. It features double doors for easy access, along with four windows to allow ample light into the hut. It is painted a vibrant green that fits in well with its parkland surroundings. Wells Golf Club said: "We're delighted with the finished hut and we can't wait to put it to use at our upcoming events throughout the summer".
