We‘re delighted to announce that, having taken part in the Bristol Rovers FC 1883 Club draw on many previous occasions, Somerlap will be the West Stand Sponsors for the 2020/1 season!
We found out that we had been successful earlier this week - the draw would usually take place at the Club's End of Season Awards dinner, but it was delayed because of the pandemic. Manager Ben Garner and Stadium Announcer Lance Cook did the honours, and Somerlap was one of the lucky names chosen!
Here at Somerlap we’re always delighted to support local sports clubs, charities and schools wherever possible, such as the charity Stand Against Violence and Wedmore Football Club; but this is by far the biggest sponsorship we’ve had! We’re looking forward to going to the Memorial Stadium to cheer the team on when the Government restrictions are eased.
