Easter Eggstravaganza 2009
Staff at Somerlap would like to thank everyone for joining the family Easter Eggstravaganza. We couldn’t resist this picture of children enjoying the activities during our open weekend. Pictured are Abi Milburn (7) and Evie Milburn (5) from Burnham- on-Sea and Sophie Spurrell (9) from Blackford after having their cheeks painted with Chicks and Easter eggs. The children took part in the Easter ‘Hunt the Message’ competition; colouring competition, making Easter Greeting cards and lucky dip whilst munching on Easter Biscuits and Gingerbread bunnies. All donations from the weekend go to the RSPCA Brent Knoll. New events and competitions are scheduled for 2009, so come back and visit us again soon.
