A team of fit guys from Somerlap and Revolution Fit Gym in Shepton Mallet have joined forces and are attempting to pull, using shear muscle power, a Somerlap articulated lorry, weighing in excess of 14 tonnes, along the East Somerset Way, Wells, Somerset to raise funds for three charities.

The 'Green-fingered' team at Mark based Pallet & Timber Garden Product manufacturer, Somerlap, have managed to scoop no less than 10 first prizes at the Royal British Legion Flower & Vegetable Show held in Mark, Somerset.
Young experts from Mark First School, Mark, Highbridge joined the staff at Somerlap to 'test' the Sheriff's Lodge play den. The Sheriff's Lodge is just one of the quality timber play dens which are now being sold at Somerlap.
Cheddar Valley homes will soon get their first collection under a new recycling scheme beginning mid July. Recycling and food waste will be collected every week under the new scheme with non-recycling rubbish and green waste collected alternate weeks.
