Maintenance of Furniture

This furniture has already been treated with natural linseed oil or palm oil which offers good protection against water absorption. It is however recommended that each item is coated with good quality furniture oil before leaving it outside. It should then be treated twice a year to prolong the original condition.

Wood is a natural product - a living material, every piece being unique and having its own features. It is not uncommon for small surface cracks to appear as a reaction to weather conditions but this will not harm the product in anyway. If the furniture has been stored in a hot and humid atmosphere, a slight surface coating of mildew may appear. This can easily be removed with a damp cloth.
