Christmas charity from SomerlapSomerlap are happy to announce that their chosen Christmas charity this year is Somewhere to Go. Based in Weston-super-Mare, Somewhere to Go is a registered charity that works with and supports, rough sleepers and disadvantaged and vulnerable adults.

They run a day centre which is open Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays, from 10.30am to 2.30pm. They offer a warm, friendly welcome with crafts, activities and free or subsidised meals. The day centre also offers visitors the opportunity to wash, shave and change their clothes, as well as seek housing advice and guidance.

Christmas charity donations

Somerlap have made and distributed Christmas charity collection boxes throughout the local area. The hope is that the boxes will be filled with donations of clothes, toiletries, food items and cleaning products. Somerlap will collect all of the boxes and deliver them to Somewhere to Go. Somerlap also have a collection box in their showroom in Mark, Somerset, ready to accept any donations from their customers.

"We are delighted to be supporting Somewhere to Go this festive season" said Somerlap Managing Director, Kevin Bond. "They work tirelessly to support and offer advice and guidance to disadvantaged adults and those sleeping rough. We sincerely hope the items donated through our collection boxes will go some way in helping them carry on their fantastic work and thank anyone who has donated an item for their support." he added.
